Proud of Our Rural Heritage

ArborOne is one of South Carolina's oldest financial institutions. In 1917 our founders saw a need for providing loans for land, livestock and agricultural improvements to local families and farms, and in 1923 formed Pee Dee Farm Credit which is now ArborOne Financial.

We are a proud member of the Farm Credit System, established when President Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Farm Loan Act in 1916. A portion of the profits generated from our lending activity is returned to our member-owners in the form of patronage refunds.

Changing with the times

Our founders' original vision—the one that got us going—has proven to be the one that keeps us growing. We continue to provide solid, financially sound credit services to the agricultural community, and our services have expanded to include insurance, agribusiness loans, operating loans, home loans, and financial planning services.

Formerly Pee Dee Farm Credit, we have since changed our name to ArborOne Financial, to reflect both the changes in agriculture and the full range of services our customers now require. ArborOne is tied to the land—and we bring that expertise in South Carolina land and financing to every customer, whether they require a second mortgage, an auto loan, or financing for their agribusiness. Our changes aren't superficial. But they're not fundamental either. Our founders' vision has stood the test of time.
